MA GENDER STUDIES

The Master of Arts in Gender Studies is a flagship program of the School of Gender Studies at Mahatma Gandhi University. Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary field that delves into the epistemological, conceptual, legal and empirical dimensions of gendered inequalities and power dynamics. It draws upon scholarship in Women’s Studies, Masculinity Studies and Queer Studies, which themselves draw upon a variety of intellectual perspectives including sociological, literacy, historical, psychological, rhetorical and biological.
